Mizuno is attempting to deliver the smoothest transition from long iron to fairway wood in your bag with the CLK hybrids. Mizuno engineers have implemented a new multi-thickness MAS1C maraging steel face into the CLK hybrids, which provides a more efficient energy transfer from anywhere on the clubface for faster ball speeds and more forgiveness on off-center hits. This stronger face material allowed for both a thinner face and a more aggressive and flexible Wave Sole. This and a wider, confidence-inspiring profile encourage a higher ball flight and steeper landing angles on the greens. The CLK hybrids also include a series of internal structural refinements that achieve a more pleasing sound at impact.
